Half Marathon- COMPLETE

I DID THE DANG THING

Well it is official- I have checked off a bucket list item and have successfully run a half marathon!  It was hard, amazing, painful, fulfilling and just down right awesome.  The coolest part about it was to see how many people actually ran it. You had young, old, thin, thick, tall, short, serious, not serious.  ALL types of people were there for the same reason.  Everyone showed up and took anywhere up to three and a half hours to run 13.1 miles.  There is something so simple and awesome about it.  No one cared about how you trained, or the time you finished. People cared about the friends and family there with them and the fact that they completed the race.  It was not nice weather and there were parts where we were running in ankle deep water, but it sure gave the race even more character.  It was all worth it, even if my knees hurt so bad I can barely walk (: CHEERS!!!

50 Push ups
25 Pull ups

Thursday- Crossfit

12 min AMRAP
3 Power Cleans (85#)
10 HSPU
15 KB SDHP (25#)

Friday- Off

Saturday- RACE DAY!!!!

Sunday- Off
